The water softener softliQ:MD38 softens water according to the water consumption. The softliQ:MD38 is the soft water expert that gets smarter every day because it learns from you. First, it determines your average consumption for every day of the week and then controls its softening performance subject to the respective day. In addition, it checks and optimises this consumption profile on a daily basis. Its two exchanger tanks ensure stagnation-free softening in phases of low withdrawal and full capacity in case of high water demand. The softening strategy is determined by pre-selection: Eco, Power, Comfort or Individual. The softliQ:MD38 system operates according to the ion exchange principle and features a fully automatic control unit as well as a wear-optimised control valve. Based on the set raw water hardness and the water withdrawals, the water softener adapts to the conditions prevailing on site. The new softliQ:MD38 system thus ensures premium water quality for your home and sustainability for the environment. The innovative softliQ:MD38 system can be controlled via the integrated colour touch display or via Grünbeck's myProduct app.F7

Make use of the full range of performance of the new sofltiQ systems. All system types feature the new touch display which provides intuitive operating convenience. Your system thinks ahead: By means of the infrared light sensor, the softliQ system measures the filling level of the salt and reminds you in time of the refill. You are always informed - via the display, Grünbeck's myProduct app or, if so desired, by mail. The integrated water sensor which monitors the system’s installation site for uncontrolled water leaks, provides additional safety for your home.

Observe local installation directives, general guidelines and technical specifications. The installation site must be frost-proof and ensure the system's protection from chemicals, dyes, solvents and vapours. Always install a drinking water filter and, if required, a pressure reducer (e.g. pureliQ:KD) upstream of the systems. For the electrical connection, a shock-proof socket is required within a range of up to approx. 1.2 m of the system.
A drain connection must be provided to discharge the regeneration water. In case the flushing water is directed to a lifting system, make sure that said device is salt water proof. The installation room must have a floor drain. If this is not the case, an appropriate safety system (e.g. protectliQ) has to be installed.  A cold water withdrawal point must be available downstream of the system and in close proximity to it. If the softened water is intended for human consumption as defined by the German Drinking Water Ordinance, the ambient temperature must not rise above 25 °C. In case of applications that are purely technical, the ambient temperature must not exceed 40 °C.
