The GENODOS® DM-BO dosing systems add GENO®-Baktox to the water. This disinfects drinking and process water and sterilises pipes, water tanks, filter systems, and well and spring tappings. The recontamination rate also falls. GENO®-Baktox is an alternative to conventional disinfectants when these fail (e.g. GENO®-Chlor A in the case of high pH values) or produce unwanted side effects (e.g. odours). The dosing system consists of a contact water meter and a dosing pump. This controls the volume of GENO®-Baktox added in proportion to the volume; up to 0.2 mg/l ClO2 are permitted for disinfection (normal dosing). The GENO®-Baktox solution is extracted directly from the disposable container via a suction lance with integrated empty signal.
For correct setting of the chlorine dioxide online measurement directly during commissioning, you are advised to also renew the pipe section between points 4 and 5.
Warning! If disinfection procedures are used, the materials used must be checked on site to determine their resistance to chemicals and corrosion.
Observe local installation directives, general guidelines (e.g. DIN, VDE, DVGW, ÖVGW or SVGW) and technical specifications. A fine filter must always be installed upstream of the system. In the event of downstream systems for the provision of hot water (boiler, continuous flow heater, etc.), protection against backflow must be installed. As the water meter of the GENODOS® DM-BO dosing system has an integrated non-return valve, these must not be installed between the hot water providers and their relief pressure valve.
The operator must ensure that all conditions specified below for the structurally and technically safe optimum operation of the system are met before starting the installation. For information on this, see the product data sheet.
