In pools with an overflow channel, raw water tanks are used to hold the overflow and displacement water and supply backwash water. Level control with fill water top-up, water losses compensates for water losses and protects the pump against dry running. The tank has a manhole and the connecting pieces are provided. Depending on the model, the raw water tank has an integrated overflow and PVC pipe nipple for overflow. The size and equipment of the swimming pool determine the tank volume. As standard, there are tanks with a volume of 1.1 m³ to 4 m³. Special and custom designs are possible.
Please note local installation directives, general guidelines and technical specifications. The installation site must be below the water surface and must offer adequate space for installation and maintenance work. A foundation of a sufficient size and load-bearing capacity with a height of 100 mm must be provided. The foundation must also be aligned level and in the water. The installation site must be frost-proof and sufficiently aerated and deaerated. The raw water tank must be protected against chemicals, dyes, solvents and vapours.
