GENO-mat® ZF – water softening for defined consumption

The GENO-mat® ZF range of water softeners is intended for the softening and partial softening of drinking water and process water. They primarily operate in industrial applications with a defined water consumption in areas in which soft water is not constantly required. The systems use the principle of ion exchange. The GENO-mat ZF® systems are regenerated with full salting and are therefore suitable for softening to less than 0.1 dH. They have an integrated bypass for the supply of raw water during regeneration. This is triggered after a set time interval. The systems are available in five sizes from 2.0 m³/h to 9.5 m³/h maximum flow.

Installation requirements

Please note local installation directives, general guidelines and technical specifications. A fine filter must always be installed upstream of the system. The systems must be protected in accordance with DIN 1988, part 4 (e.g. system separator). The installation site must be frost-proof and the system protected against chemicals, dyes, solvents and vapours. The ambient temperature as well as the radiation temperature next to the system must not exceed 40 °C.
